SOMETHING abt the interview of anthropology @ CU My interviewer was an Italian--Prof. BOSCO!! he greeted me by saying '你好!’in Cantonese! He also had lived in Taiwan for several years... OK, it's an individual one n the questions were rather conventional, At the beginning, he asked where did i first hear about anthropology... My response stunned him coz it was a special occasion that a prof of the department was invited to a meeting of the Rotary Club and to give a talk!! but it was not a very successful beginning though as i had forgotten how to pronounce ''Rotary club'' n name of the prof!! the grammar mistakes i made was a really a proof that my English sucks = = but u know what, the prof just kept talking after asking a few questions the last question he asked was '' what did your parents say when they knew that you have applied for anthropology?'''' they support everything that i choose!'' ‘‘Ha ha ...you are rather lucky! You know that some of our students.............'' and he kept went on introducing his department @-@ n i listened = = dun know what to say the whole thing was just about 15 mins n i just headed to MK afterwards n----shopped!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ these few months i would be quite busy as i have to work n also to finish the 同學錄... Hey, good news--i may have my own painting courses during the summer vocation as I've asked my boss yesterday if she wanted to hire me to teach the kids painting n she said it's a gd idea!! hopefully i can have enough students n my own classes~ |
